What is that awful monstrosity in #6? It looks like the roof of a small ‘90s station wagon smashed onto the top of a current-gen Camaro.

Lambo SUV thing. It’s pretty awful.

I’m feeling the handycap parked ‘56 most of all. Man I love a Tri-Five.

That 912 is CLEAN.

It sure is.

Lambo Urus (“Uterus”) - another one of what I call the “Marie Antoinette” segment.

Yeah this is a Pors che area, we have two of the best shops in the country for them here. In fact this 912 is only a few blocks from S Car Go Racing. Lots of them go to Laguna Seca and Monterey from here, Gus Pfister of Pacific Fuel Injection is one of the last OG mechanical fuel tuners, I went to get my Mercedes pump fixed and tuned and there wa s a mountain of boxes from all over. Even the dealers here send the classic parts to him, he was looking old and it looked like he slept in a VW bus in the shop last time I was there...

“Uterus” has too many positive associations. I think I’ll call it “Anus”.

I've got a question. Yesterday I saw a first generation Toyota Land Cruiser. It was a pickup with an oddly large extended cab but was still a two door. I think I recall you posting about such a thing but I have no idea about what I saw other than I've never seen one before. Any ideas?

Like an FJ45? I have posted a Toyota truck with a space cab on it, those aren’t land cruisers though. They made variations of FJs for other markets though . We can start with this.

As far as I know these are all custom made.

It looked exactly like that except with a longer wheelbase and a different bed style with integrated exterior tie downs like the blue one. Weird.

Maybe they made this version for some markets. The grill looks like it is a much later year. This says it’s a 89' so maybe South America etc..?

THAT IS IT! Except it had the more common early grille one it. Except it literally is exactly that body style down to the letter. Must have been a South American import. Wish I could have got a picture of it, but I was too stunned to do anything but sit and watch it drive away.

Maybe they have been making them for that market for some time, to import it they must have found an older one.

Could just be a newer one with an American VIN swap and a front fascia change. Whatever it was, you found it. The one I saw was white but otherwise exactly the same minus the grille. Looked frickin awesome!
